CONTENT & DISTRIBUTION Vancouver

Content built for a city that already knows what good looks like

Vancouver is wall to wall film crews, VFX houses and gaming studios, so the bar for production is high. We help founders and creators here turn that taste into a content engine that actually ships and travels.

The opportunity

Vancouver is one of North America's most production literate cities. It is Hollywood North, home to enormous film and TV soundstages, VFX and animation shops, and a gaming and tech cluster that quietly punches above its weight. The flip side is that everyone here already knows what a clean shot and a tight edit look like, so polish alone does not move anyone. What moves people is consistency and distribution. We work remotely with Vancouver founders, studios and creators to build a short-form engine that turns one good idea into a week of platform-native posts, then pushes them across the channels where your buyers and fans actually scroll. You get the cadence of a media company without hiring one, and the strategy stays anchored to a market that respects craft but rewards reach.

What growth looks like

Reach compounding once the engine is running on cadence.

Where you are now

I get exactly where you're stuck

Vancouver runs on craft. You have Hollywood North film crews, world class VFX and animation, a real gaming scene, plus a wave of outdoor and wellness brands. The problem is rarely taste, it is volume and rhythm. We run a remote content and distribution engine so your ideas leave the editing bay and reach people every single week.

Great footage, no rhythm

Vancouver is full of people who can shoot beautifully. The gap is publishing. You sit on gorgeous raw clips for weeks because no system turns them into a steady weekly drumbeat of posts.

Production-grade taste, hobby-grade output

When you grow up around film sets and VFX bays, anything that feels rough makes you flinch, so you over-polish and ship almost nothing. We give you a process that protects quality while forcing volume.

Small market, high cost of standing still

Vancouver is expensive and the local audience is finite. If you only talk to BC, you cap yourself. Distribution is how you sell into the US and beyond from a Pacific timezone.

How it works

The engine, step by step

  1. 01

    Map your scene

We pin down where you sit in Vancouver's mix of film, VFX, gaming, tech or lifestyle, and who you actually want watching beyond the local crowd.

  2. 02

    Build the capture system

We set a low-friction way to capture raw material from your real work, so shoots, builds and conversations feed the engine instead of dying on a hard drive.

  3. 03

Edit for the platform, not the festival

We cut platform-native short-form that respects your taste but is built for the feed, with hooks that survive the first second of scroll.

  4. 04

    Distribute and read the signal

We ship on a fixed weekly cadence across channels, watch what travels, and feed that back so the next batch is sharper than the last.

What I'd build for you

The system behind the content

Output ramping up
JanFebMarAprMayJun

One shoot day turning into a stack of assets every month.

Mine the craft, multiply it

We treat your existing shoots, demos and studio work like a quarry. One session becomes a stack of short-form cuts tuned for how Vancouver buyers and the wider creator world actually watch, not just one hero edit.

Distribute past the city limits

We do not let your reach stop at the North Shore. We push your short-form across YouTube Shorts, Reels, TikTok and LinkedIn so a Pacific-timezone founder can sell into US markets while they sleep.

Earn trust before the pitch

Film, gaming and wellness audiences smell a hard sell instantly. We build content that shows the work and the thinking first, so the offer lands once people already respect the craft.

The difference

With the engine vs going it alone

With Pixel Samy Studio
  • A weekly short-form cadence that never depends on you finding spare hours
  • Reach that breaks past BC into US and global audiences
  • Editing that holds the production bar Vancouver expects
  • A founder voice that reads as the expert, not the salesperson
On your own
  • Beautiful clips piling up unpublished on a drive
  • An audience capped at a small, expensive local market
  • Endless re-edits chasing a polish nobody asked for
  • A feed that goes quiet the second work gets busy

How I think about it

I started Pixel Samy because I kept meeting talented people who could make the work but could not make the noise. Vancouver makes that pattern obvious. This is a city where someone on your street might rig lighting for a Marvel shoot or composite shots that end up in cinemas, so the local standard for production is genuinely high. That should be an advantage. Too often it becomes a trap, because when you can see every flaw you ship almost nothing. My whole job is to break that. I run the engine remotely so your time goes into the work you are great at, while we turn it into a steady stream of short-form that reaches far past the North Shore. You bring the craft and the timezone advantage of selling west to east. I bring the rhythm, the platform instincts and the distribution that turns a respected local name into one people across the continent actually recognise.

The kind of result I'm after

What results look like here is usually less about a single viral hit and more about compounding. A founder who was posting sporadically starts shipping every week, and within a couple of months the inbound shifts from local referrals to messages from outside the province. Watch time climbs because the hooks get sharper, and the share of audience that sits in US markets grows quietly until it outweighs the home crowd. The work was always good. Now it travels.

We run the full loop for Vancouver founders and creators. That means strategy tuned to where you sit in the film, VFX, gaming, tech or lifestyle mix, capture systems that pull from your real work, platform-native short-form editing that holds a high production bar, and multi-platform distribution across Shorts, Reels, TikTok and LinkedIn. We handle scripting and hooks, the publishing calendar, and the analytics read that keeps the engine improving. You stay focused on the craft. We make sure it reaches people well past the city.

FAQ

Questions I get a lot

Still curious? Talk to us.

Do you have an office in Vancouver?
No, we run fully remote and serve founders and creators across the city from there. That keeps overhead low and our focus on output, not a lobby. We work to your Pacific timezone and the channels your audience lives on.
Vancouver is so production heavy, can you match the bar?
That high bar is exactly why we exist here. We protect quality while solving the real bottleneck, which is shipping consistently. The goal is craft plus cadence, not one without the other.
Can you help me sell beyond the BC market?
Yes, that is often the main point. Vancouver's local audience is finite, so distribution into US and global feeds is where the growth is, and your Pacific timezone is an advantage for selling east.
I am in film or VFX, not a typical founder. Does this fit?
It fits well. Studios, post houses and individual artists all benefit from showing process and thinking in short-form. We turn the work you already do into content that builds your name.
How much of my time does this take?
Very little once it is running. We build a low-friction capture habit, then handle editing, scheduling and distribution. Most clients spend an hour or two a week feeding the engine.
What platforms do you focus on?
YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok and LinkedIn, weighted to where your specific audience sits. A gaming creator and a wellness founder get very different mixes.
