An angel arm run by someone who has shipped
Samy Capital is the investing side of a builder who spends most days inside products, audiences, and go-to-market. We invest our own capital, write our own cheques, and bring the same hands to the table that we use to build our own companies.
The best returns come from being useful
We started writing cheques because we kept meeting founders we wanted to help long before there was any reason to. The investing thesis grew out of that instinct: put capital behind people we'd work for free, then make ourselves genuinely useful so the company has a better shot at working.
That means we keep the book small on purpose. Fewer companies, more attention per company. We'd rather be a founder's first call at midnight than a name on a cap table they forget they have.
What we look for
- Founders with unusual depth in their market
- A product wedge that's narrow but sharp
- A real path from attention to revenue
- Honesty about what isn't working yet
The way we work with founders
Radically straight
We tell you what we actually think, about the round, the plan, and the parts that worry us. No theatrics, no slow-no.
Founder-aligned
Clean terms, no leverage games, and follow-on support when you raise again. Your win is the only way we win.
In the trenches
Need a hire, a customer intro, or a second set of eyes on pricing? That's the help we're built to give.
